FamilyCare Hub

About FamilyCare Hub

FamilyCare Hub was built in Ireland by a family who needed it.

The founder, Diarmaid Crumlish, and his wife — who works in healthcare — went looking for a tool when her own mother needed care. They couldn’t find one that worked for their family. The options were either clinical systems built for professionals, or the same group chat every other family was already struggling with. So they built one, at their kitchen table.

It turned out a lot of families were stuck in the same place: a WhatsApp group with too many messages, no one sure who’d done what, and one person quietly carrying the load.

What FamilyCare Hub is

A caregiving coordination platform for families managing the care of an ageing or unwell relative. It brings the family around the person into one calm, private place — medications, appointments, tasks, notes, shared visibility — so the work of care is shared, not carried alone.

What it isn’t

It’s not a clinical tool. No medical advice, no diagnosis, no monitoring. It coordinates the family, not the care. The family decides who sees what — whoever creates the Care Circle controls access, can grant view-only access to relatives who just want to read updates, and can revoke it at any time. No one is added without consent, and the data stays inside the family.

How it’s run

FamilyCare Hub is in free private beta, and core features will always be free to use — that’s a public commitment from launch. Diarmaid still sets new families up himself, on a 20-minute video call. It’s how he keeps learning what to build next.
